Personnal project

      Through all those IB years, we studied constantly; we learned innumerable lessons and carried out lots of researchers and assignments. In addition, we had regularly oral presentations, in which we treated different topics, etc.  Now that we are in 10^th grade, it’s our turn to create our own personal project, one of the most tremendous projects in C5; in fact it is now more like the representation of this grade since it’s the main thing everyone talks about when they mention the fifth year in the MYP. That’s why I had to thing harder than ever to find a project that captures my interests. And after a long time, I finally came up with a project, which is “to create a craft book for kids with recycled materials”.

      Knowing that,  Day after day, the atmosphere is at risk from pollution and lack of human interest while, putting the environment under an enormous danger, that's why it is our role to fight against it and take care of the universe. This is where recycling occurs and the fact of transform recycled materials. My project is to create a DIY book for children ages 6 to 8, with the aim to use simple recycled materials available in every house. My project is related to the area of interaction environment. Since this is to reuse waste materials instead of throwing them and polluting our environment, and it is also a fun way for young children and developed their creativity and manual skill since these crafts are things factories by hand.  

Qualities of a friend

“If all my friends were to jump off the bridge, I would not follow them; I would be at the bottom to catch them when they fall” very touching quote which gather several qualities of a good friend. As well as how he will do anything to support you, and to help you get up. In most of the dictionaries the word friend is defined as “a person who one knows, like and trust” in fact it has a very deep meaning, in addition a good friend comes right after family, and sometimes even a part of our family.

Through life we always pass by hard moments, some last for months and others minutes, but at the end if you turn your head, you will always find your friend standing right beside you, doing his best to help you, always encouraging you as much as he can, so you can feel better, as they say”a friend is like a rainbow, they brighten your life when you’ve been thought a storm”. In addition a good friend always cares for you during all kind of situations. For instance, if you’re sick, he will try to visit you as much as possible and keep in touch till you fell well.

In effect honesty is the best policy to keep a friendship alive, since a good friend will always tell the truth and never lie. And if anything goes wrong they will let you know. In addition, a good friend is a good listener which listens to carefully and will try to give you useful advices.

Not to forget that friends are always fun, unique and interesting, and really fun to be around, which actually depends on how you define it: since some friends can be fun because they’re the life of the party, while others maybe be fun because they notice every strange detail about a situation, and some because they simply see life as no one else does, etc... And those probably are the main reasons you became friend with this person.  

             Last but not least, a good friends accepts you for who you are, and don’t want to change a thing in you, As Doug Larson said “A true friend is one who overlooks your failures and tolerates your success”. Here’s a short poems that describes the important of a friend:

       And to conclude, a friend is a gift from above, a person that will light your life and help you find your way. You will always find him there for you, as you should always be there for him, which is the main point that indicates, if he’s a true friend, because lets as not forget “ a friend in need is a friend indeed”.
